My kids LOVE going to El Jardin. Maestra Laura and Maestra Annabella make learning Spanish, in an absolutely beautiful garden environment, so much fun. It is a perfect program because my kids thrive being outdoors and working with their hands through craft/art work or digging and planting in the gardens. When I pick up my kids, they are always excited to talk about their day -Kat
I have 3 kids who all attend the El Jardin OC program. They range in age from 5, 7 and 10 years old. My kids were in public school full dual immersion so this program has been such a sweet change for them! They love it so much and enjoy the fun time they have twice a week. We are so thankful to have found such a fun Spanish program for them! - Leah
This program is great for exposing your children to the Spanish language and various Spanish cultures. The program is held in a wonderful setting in an outside classroom. - Diana
El Jardin has been a fun and comfortable exploration of Spanish for my daughter! She uses some words at home now like "adios," "rojo," and "cabeza." I think she has really enjoyed the experience... Tides has been a wonderful experience for us. Our teacher is so kind and knowledgeable, and the kids in the class are all so sweet and supportive of each other. It’s just the right amount of time for us too, a full school day is just too exhausting, but three hours is just right. There are so many days when I drop my kids off at Tides and think how lucky we are to be at the beach on a weekday morning! My kids get a chance to be away from me, play with friends, explore outside, and learn some Marine Biology, and I get three hours to myself to either run errands or lay on the beach! They recently started doing end of semester projects and presentations, so now my kids also get to practice public speaking. I highly recommend this program. - Sarah

My 4 year old son started attending OC Terrain as his first teacher-led learning experience outside the home. The teachers have been so wonderful in guiding him with love and patience. He loves being a "hiking kid" (as he calls himself). OC Terrain is a great opportunity to grow his love for nature and discover together with other children. He truly loves his teachers and looks forward to seeing them each week! -Kim
Terrain was everything outdoor school should be and more. My boys loved being outside with Ms. Eden, searching for snails, climbing trees, connecting during morning circle time and free play with friends. Farm to Table
Farm to Table has been the perfect fit for our 8 year old daughter. The program offers a safe, outdoor environment that encourages learning at your own pace and covers all the core subjects of the home school curriculum, along with incorporating many outdoor projects such as caring for small farm animals and gardening. Farm school has been a beautiful transition for a family. As "unschoolers," we weren't sure about moving forward with a curriculum based program, but we tuned into our daughter's growth and needs and we are so happy we did. Giving our daughter the gift of a day a week on the beautiful Carpinteria bluffs, reading in nature, enjoying math in the fresh air, getting to spend time with animals and friends alike-what a blessing!
