El Jardín SB is a four-hour drop-off Spanish immersion experience for children grades TK-3rd located at the SB Botanic Garden in the Children’s Backyard section. The program studies thematic units, Spanish vocabulary, outdoor learning, sustainability, gardening, and art — all in a Spanish immersion environment. This is a small group setting with only 10 students, led by our amazing Spanish teacher.
Classes offered:
Pequenos (TK-3rd, Tuesdays): Students learn new weekly Spanish vocabulary, letters, colors, and numbers; and they enjoy “dirt play,” gardening, art, story time, singing, and dancing — all in a Spanish immersion environment.

El Jardín is a year-long program, with fall and spring semesters, with classes meeting from 10 am to 2 pm. Families must sign up for each semester separately.

El Jardín Summer Camp “Around the World” "Alrededor del Mundo" (Ages 4-12)
If you love El Jardin, you will love this unique El Jardin Spanish Immersion Summer Camp! Travel around the world with El Jardín as we explore the most famous Spanish countries and their unique animals, flowers, foods, music, dance, art, currency, and famous places! Campers will receive an El Jardín passport and daily stamps as we travel around the Spanish countries! Campers will join us for fun outdoor sports, games, activities, gardening, and art, all while learning about the wonders of Spanish countries and cultures!
