El Jardín Roosevelt is an after-school Spanish immersion experience for children grades TK–6th grade located at Roosevelt Elementary. The program studies thematic units, Spanish vocabulary, outdoor learning, sustainability, nature studies, and art — all in a Spanish immersion environment. These are small group classes of up to 17 students per group, led by our amazing Spanish teachers (Head Maestra and Assistant Maestra).
Class offered:
Youngers (TK–6th Exact grade level split will be determined once enrollment is closed): Students learn new weekly Spanish vocabulary, letters, colors, and numbers; and they enjoy “dirt play,” gardening, art, story time, singing, and dancing — all in a Spanish immersion environment.
Olders (TK–6th- Exact grade level split will be determined once enrollment is closed): Students learn new weekly Spanish vocabulary, outdoor exploration, note taking, reading, gardening, story time, singing, dancing, and art — all in a Spanish immersion environment.
