El Jardín is a four-hour drop-off Spanish immersion experience for children grades TK-4th grade located at The Lonely Mountain Farm in Watsonville, Santa Cruz County. The program studies thematic units, Spanish vocabulary, outdoor learning, sustainability, farming, gardening, and art — all in a Spanish immersion environment. These are small group classes of up to 14 students per group, led by our amazing Spanish teachers (Head Maestra and Assistant Maestra.)
Class offered:
Pequeños (TK–4th): Students learn new weekly Spanish vocabulary, letters, colors, and numbers; and they enjoy “dirt play,” gardening, art, story-time, singing, and dancing — all in a Spanish immersion environment.
DETAILS:
El Jardín is a year-long program, with fall and spring semesters, with classes meeting from 10 am to 2 pm. Families must sign up for each semester separately.
